Founded in 2011 by Dr. Scott Tate, DVM, we provide medical, surgical, and preventive care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets throughout Lafayette and the surrounding Acadiana area.
What makes Vet Med Animal Hospital different from other veterinary clinics in Lafayette?
As a single-doctor practice, we're able to offer a level of continuity and personalized attention that's harder to find at larger clinics. Dr. Tate knows his patients by name. We also perform orthopedic surgeries in-house, including extracapsular repairs, which many local hospitals refer elsewhere. Our on-site laboratory and pharmacy allow us to diagnose and treat without unnecessary delays.
